vito Möbel
Begros is one of the leading purchasing associations in the furniture industry, with 18 partner companies and over 300 furniture stores in Germany and abroad. The various specialist ranges are managed as target‑group‑specific private labels.
With the brand promise “Good furniture at a fair price”, the vito brand is clearly positioned in the middle‑class segment and forms a central assortment base for the affiliated furniture stores. The range includes living room, bedroom, and dining room furniture as well as home office solutions – all with a consistent focus on quality, design, and functionality.
Present extensive furniture ranges to the target group in a clear and structured way
Structured Shopware architecture with categories, filters, sample furniture, and an integrated product configurator
Digitized processes, efficient lead handling, and new sales potential in online furniture retail
DIGITAL PLATFORM FOR LEAD GENERATION
The vito collections include numerous ranges from selected furniture manufacturers, enabling a wide variety of configurations. With this level of complexity, traditional product marketing quickly reaches its limits. The aim was therefore to create a digital portal that presents the entire product world in a structured way, provides clear orientation, and guides users intuitively through the assortment.
At the same time, the portal needed to route qualified enquiries directly to the connected furniture stores. As part of the omnichannel strategy, prospects are handed over to the right retail partner after an initial digital consultation – for in‑person advice or completing the purchase on site.

For vito’s digital brand experience, we implemented centralized product data management based on XcalibuR. All product and variant information is maintained in a structured way and automatically published to the lead portal. This creates a consistent user experience – from initial product selection via the integrated configurator through to targeted routing of qualified enquiries to the right retail partner.
The combination of a clear shop architecture, powerful PIM, and automated lead control ensures that end customers quickly find the right product, while retailers receive complete, qualified enquiries. The result: more efficient processes, stronger basis for consultation, and higher conversion rates.
The vito lead portal is built on Shopware 6, providing a scalable, future‑ready platform for digital lead generation. Its architecture delivers high performance, flexible extensions, and a robust technological foundation for ongoing growth in the furniture sector.
A well‑designed information architecture provides clear orientation within the complex product range. Structured categories, powerful search and filtering, and the direct linking of programs and furniture variants guide users efficiently to the right product.
In addition, independent experience worlds can be created and maintained flexibly in the Shopware CMS – ensuring consistent brand presence across the entire customer journey.
A direct interface to XcalibuR was implemented to manage the extensive product and variant data in a structured way. All information is imported automatically, enriched with metadata from an external image database, and transferred seamlessly into the Shopware system.
The result is always up‑to‑date, consistent content—without manual maintenance effort and with maximum data quality in the lead portal.
The integrated configurator lets users flexibly adapt furniture ranges and assemble them according to their individual preferences. Existing variants can be modified or freely combined.
This makes the full breadth of the range digitally tangible – interactive, intuitive, and precisely tailored to each customer’s individual requirements.
To enable the direct transfer of qualified enquiries, an email checkout was integrated. Prospective customers can easily submit their individually configured furniture combination, while the system automatically identifies the appropriate retail partner and forwards the enquiry in a targeted way.
This creates a seamless transition from digital product consultation to personalised in‑store support.
The configured product selection is sent as a clear, structured PDF to both the retailer and the prospect and is additionally logged in the system. In combination with XcalibuR, prices can be assigned automatically, enabling retailers to quickly create precise offers based on complete information.
This shortens response times, increases sales efficiency, and significantly improves the likelihood of closing a deal.
FURNITURE PLATFORM WITH SCALABLE SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE
Together, burgdigital and Begros have developed a powerful system architecture that can be used not only for an increasing number of furniture ranges, but also for additional brands. The digital product information management processes are controlled end‑to‑end – from manufacturer to furniture store – via efficient XcalibuR technologies.
In addition, Shopware provides a comprehensive e‑commerce system that is used specifically for online market expansion – delivering greater reach, streamlined processes, and sustainable growth in the furniture sector.
