How is store data transmitted to Channable?
Depending on the store system, data is transferred either via an official plugin (e.g. Shopware, Shopify), via individually configurable XML/CSV/JSON feeds or via REST API. Channable regularly imports item master data, stock levels and price information.
Can Channable also send orders back to the ERP or store system?
Yes, with Channable's order connection, orders (e.g. from Amazon or OTTO) can be fed back to the store system or ERP system. The prerequisite is a suitable connection via API or plugin, e.g. for Shopware 6 or Shopify.
How often does Channable update the data?
Synchronization takes place at regular intervals. Depending on the system and settings, Channable can update product data every hour, several times a day or in real time if required. Individual time controls are possible.
Can individual fields or custom logic be mapped in Channable?
Yes, flexible sets of rules, custom mapping fields and manual feed transformations can be used to process ERP-specific fields, variant structures or dynamic content, for example, and display them depending on the channel.
What data protection standards and hosting guidelines does Channable comply with?
Channable fulfills all requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and offers a data processing agreement (DPA) in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. The platform is operated in ISO 27001-certified data centers within the European Union (usually in the Netherlands). All data transfers are encrypted via HTTPS (TLS 1.2 or higher).
If required, Channable can be configured on a client-specific basis to meet individual data storage and access control requirements.
