DIGITAL E-COMMERCE PLATFORM FOR PREMIUM GARDEN FURNITURE

Challenge: Future-proof shop relaunch & centralised process mapping

For Lünse, the aim was to revamp the existing online shop from a technological perspective, whilst at the same time ensuring that the brand’s high-quality values were reflected in a modern and consistent manner online. The switch from Shopware 5 to Shopware 6 was intended not only to create a stable technical foundation, but also to link internal processes more efficiently.

Modern usability & centralised system architecture

The aim was to develop a high-performance and scalable e-commerce platform that centrally integrates high-street retail, inventory management and the online shop. At the same time, the user experience was to be significantly improved through an optimised product search function, clear shop structures and modern technical standards.

Particular emphasis was placed on ensuring an SEO-friendly migration without any loss of visibility, as well as on creating a flexible foundation for future enhancements and new features.

CENTRAL E-COMMERCE PLATFORM FOR SCALABLE PROCESSES

Our approach: Shopware 6 as the central system platform

As part of the relaunch, Shopware 6 was implemented as the central technical platform. This enables e-commerce, inventory management and in-store processes to be efficiently integrated into a single system. The new system infrastructure provides a scalable foundation for future expansions, whilst also delivering a modern and high-performance user experience.

The migration from Shopware 5 to Shopware 6 has enabled existing processes to be technically optimised and linked together more efficiently. In addition, the integration of Doofinder and the connection to Pickware ensure improved product search functionality and centralised management of relevant business processes.

Scalable shop architecture & e-commerce platform

With the migration from Shopware 5 to Shopware 6, the existing online shop was technically modernised and migrated to a scalable e-commerce architecture. The new system forms the basis for high-performance processes, flexible extensions and a platform structure that can be maintained in the long term.

At the same time, existing shop structures were consolidated and technical processes optimised in order to create a stable and future-proof foundation for digital sales.

Core Processes & System Integration

Through the integration of Pickware and the centralised mapping of on-premises and digital processes, merchandise management, warehouse management and operational workflows have been efficiently consolidated within a single system landscape.

The networked process structure enables centralised management of relevant business processes, reduces the need for manual work and brings about a lasting improvement in the efficiency of internal processes.

Optimised product search & user experience

The integration of Doofinder has enhanced the product search functionality and improved the user experience within the shop. Customers can find relevant products more quickly and benefit from a high-performance and intuitive search experience.

In addition, the platform has been optimised in terms of structure, performance and mobile usability to ensure a modern shopping experience across all devices.
